Dyke – White Hall – Free Union

Distance: 33/41 miles
Climbing: 75/70 feet per mile

Description: These moderately hilly and scenic routes begin in Greene County, but take you into northern Albemarle County.  The short route goes through Boonesville on the way to White Hall before turning back towards Dyke.  The long route adds a small counterclockwise loop that ends with a nice finish on Bacon Hollow Road.

Due to a bridge rehabilitation project at the Route 627 (Bacon Hollow Road) bridge over the Roach River, this route should not be used beginning July 6. VDOT anticipates completion of this project by September 11, 2026.

Dyke Road between Bacon Hollow Road and Evergreen Church Road may be used to detour around the construction.
