Description: This ride follows the river through part of the Rapidan River – Clark Mountain Historic District, which includes some beautiful historic farms in Orange County. On the way to Rapidan don’t miss the mysterious “the chimneys” site. In Rapidan, the route passes by an historic mill and a couple of well-preserved examples of the 19th century Carpenter Gothic style of architecture.
