News Highlights:

Ride Calendar Update – All club rides will begin at 11 am in December.

Jersey Sale –  Many of you have asked about getting CBC’s popular jersey.  So we’d like to determine whether there is enough demand to meet the minimum order required by CBC’s vendor, Voler.  If you are potentially interested in acquiring a CBC jersey (or other apparel), please take a minute to complete this brief survey.  This is just an expression of interest, not a commitment.  Note that pricing will depend on the quantity ordered.  If there’s sufficient interest, details of a jersey sale will be announced shortly after the New Year.

Website Improvements – In an effort to continue to improve member services, we’ve made some recent upgrades to the club website.  In the route library, courses are now sortable by name, distance, and elevation gain, as well as by start point (for example, see the paved route page).  A new visitor’s page (with a link for easy waiver sign-up) has been created for the benefit of member guests, out-of-town visitors, and folks checking out the club to see how much fun everyone is having.  Finally, if you are interested in a particular scheduled event, on the calendar ride page, you now have the option of checking a box to be notified when someone posts a comment about that event.  It’s an easy way to find out when others post interest in a ride without you having to go back to the website.

Winter Potluck, Save the Date – In what has quickly become a club tradition, CBC will host a winter potluck on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Baldwin Center in North Garden.  Details to follow after the New Year.
