White Hall – Free Union – Crozet

Distance: 33 / 45 miles
Climbing: 75 / 70 feet per mile

Description: From Grit Coffee in Crozet, these routes stay in northern Albemarle County.  While both distances go to White Hall, the shorter option takes a more direct path to Free Union before heading back to Crozet.  The longer option adds a climb up Blackwells Hollow before looping back to Free Union and Beaver Creek on the way to Crozet.

Due to construction at the intersection of U.S. 250 (Rockfish Gap Turnpike), Route 240 (Three Notched Road) and Route 680 (Browns Gap Turnpike), this route should not be used. VDOT anticipates completion of this work some time in December 2025.
