SUMMARY:Bike Month Finale - Random Row Ramble and Closing Party
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an all ride class\, in-town ride and closing party to celebrate Cville Bike Month 2026!   \nCBC will ride with the Sunday Funday group\, as well other interested cyclists\, from Random Row Brewing Company.  Note the 10:00A start time.   \nTwo routes of 11 and 23 miles will be offered.  Since these are designed to be chill\, in-town rides\, cyclists will group up based on distance rather than average speed.  This is a great opportunity for all riders to enjoy a relaxed pace together.    \nClick on the links below to view the RWGPS pages: \n11 Mile Random Row Rambler \n23 Mile Random Row Rambler \nPost-ride\, Random Row is hosting the bike month closing party starting at noon.   As part of Random Row’s Pour It Forward event series\, proceeds from a raffle and $2 from each pizza and beer sold will benefit iCan Shine\, a nonprofit that empowers individuals with disabilities to participate in activities – like biking! – by building skills and confidence in a group camp setting. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  Other prizes will be offered. \n* Members please indicate you will attend by signing up below.  Be sure to have the route on your phone or bike computer\, and/or have a map or cue sheet.  Also\, please check the ride signups the day of the ride if the weather is iffy.

SUMMARY:Happy Hour and Community Bikes Fundraiser at Random Row Brewing Company
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another CBC Happy Hour at one of our sponsors – Random Row Brewing Company!  Happy hour specials for members will include $1 off anything on the beer menu. \nCBC is partnering for the second year with Nest Realty to raise funds for Charlottesville Community Bikes\, a local “nonprofit 501(c)3 bicycle shop that promotes environmentally-sound transportation\, recycles bicycles\, and makes cycling accessible.”  Come enjoy drinks on Nest Realty in exchange for a donation to a great cause!  Community Bikes will have a table set up with information about the organization\, opportunities for active involvement\, and a link or QR code to donate. To encourage your support\, CBC leadership is contributing personal funds to match donations from CBC members to Community Bikes\, up to an aggregate of $1\,000.  So come out to Random Row\, support a great cycling cause\, and double your contribution through this matching grant!  No club dues will be used for this match. \nAnd new this year – bring your donations of bikes\, bike parts\, bike clothing and other bike gear with you to Random Row.  Community Bikes will be accepting such donations during the happy hour. \nHope to see you there!
