SUMMARY:Afton - Loft Mountain (52\, A / B\, VH)
DESCRIPTION:Convenient to the Charlottesville area\, this out-and-back route is a great introduction to the Skyline Drive and the Shenandoah National Park.  It heads north on for 26 miles before turning around at the Loft Mountain Wayside and heading back.  Great scenery with multiple long\, moderate grades. \nStores:  Mile 26 (Loft Mountain Wayside) \nAlerts:   A fee is required at the entrance to the national park unless you already have a pass.  Most passes can be used for up to four riders. \nRoute page: Afton – Loft Mountain \nClick on the image below for the RWGPS page. \n \n* Members please indicate you will attend by signing up below.  Be sure to have the route on your phone or bike computer\, and/or have a map or cue sheet.  Also\, please check the ride comments the day of the ride if the weather is iffy.
