SUMMARY:New Hope (28 / 38\, MH / MF)

DESCRIPTION:This modestly hilly ride covers much of the Earlysville area. The medium and long routes include a nice climb up Bacon Hollow\, which is famous for its moonshine operations during the Prohibition era (a local winery produces a wine called Bacon Hollow Revenuers’ Select White). \nStores: Mile 16 / 25 (Dyke) \nAlerts:  The out and back section on the medium (35 mile) route up Bacon Hollow Road (mile 15 ) is well-known for dogs that sometimes get out in the road.
