SUMMARY:Mount Doom - Three Creeks (27\, G\, H)
DESCRIPTION:A pleasant ride for the most part through very rural sections of Nelson County\, it includes a steep\, somewhat technical descent after a long\, moderate climb over what is affectionately called Mount Doom. The route fords several small creeks in the middle section between miles 15 and 18. \nAlerts:  1. Descent at mile 7 is steep and fast. DESCRIPTION:This ride follows the river through part of the Rapidan River – Clark Mountain Historic District\, which includes some beautiful historic farms in Orange County. On the way to Rapidan don’t miss the mysterious “the chimneys” site. SUMMARY:White Hall - Millington (30\, G\, H)
DESCRIPTION:This is a pleasant ride in varied terrain. Very early in the route there is a short steep descent at mile 1.5 on Jones Mill Rd and then at mile 1.9 a steep climb. Look for the Monastery at mile 17.5 on Clark Rd\, home of the “Cheese Nuns”.  At mile 23.3 there is a 1.2 mile climb on Tilman Rd. (paved).
