SUMMARY:Random Row Ramble - Ride and Lunch
DESCRIPTION:With rain followed by heavy winds predicted at start time\, this event is CANCELED and will be rescheduled. \n  \nJoin us for our first ever Sunday town ride and lunch at one of our sponsors – Random Row Brewing Co! \nTwo new routes of 11 and 23 miles will be offered.  Since these will be in-town rides\, cyclists will group up based on distance rather than average speed.  In addition\, for riders interested in a more casual group experience\, Peter Aaron will lead the 11-mile route as a NO DROP ride.  Everything a cyclist could want will be available at this event … plenty of parking\, pre-ride coffee\, restrooms\, and quiet residential routes\, followed by lunch at Random Row. \nClick on the links below to view the RWGPS pages: \n11 Mile Random Row Rambler \n23 Mile Random Row Rambler \n* Members please indicate you will attend by signing up below.  Be sure to have the route on your phone or bike computer\, and/or have a map or cue sheet.  Also\, please check the ride signups the day of the ride if the weather is iffy. \n

SUMMARY:CBC Member Summer Picnic
DESCRIPTION:*** PLEASE SEE THE NOTE BELOW ABOUT A RECENT CHANGE TO THE ROUTES *** \nJoin us for the fourth annual CBC member summer picnic!  Come ride with us and then join us for a catered picnic lunch\, or just join us for the lunch.  Bring your family and join the fun!  The picnic is rain or shine. \nWe have reserved the covered pavilion behind Maybelle’s Market at 8609 Dyke Road\, Dyke\, VA 22935.  Please park in the gravel lot across the street from the store.   Locally owned Maybelle’s Market will supply lunch (free to members and their families) beginning at 11:30 am\, consisting of an assortment of sandwich wraps\, cheese/fruit trays\, salads and cookies.  The club will provide bottled water and drinks.  Feel free to bring a favorite appetizer or snack to share post ride before lunch comes out.  If you plan to participate\, please RSVP as soon as you can but by no later than July 6\, by sending an email to info@charlottesvillebicycleclub.org with the number of adults and children who will attend. \nNOTE: Due to a recent water line break on Evergreen Church Road\, all routes have been adjusted to detour around a road closure at mile 2.5.  If you downloaded a picnic route prior to July 7\, delete and use one of the following courses. \nWe will have the following ride options (click on the links for the RideWithGPS pages): \nThe (B Pace) and (C Pace) routes start at 8:00am. \n45-CBC Picnic 2025 (B\, MH) \n36-CBC Picnic 2025 (C\, MH) \nThe (D Pace) route for casual riders will start at 8:30am. \n21-CBC Picnic 2025 (D\, MH)
